Is this kit compatible with my existing air suspension?
Yes, the Wireless App Control Kit is designed to be highly
versatile. It is compatible with most brands of airbag suspension, making it suitable for both OEM-style fitments and aftermarket upgrades on 4x4s, utes, and caravans.
Is this kit compatible with my existing air compressor?
Yes, the system delivers optimum performance when paired with a dedicated Airbag Man compressor, but the design is suitable to connect to your favourite existing onboard compressor.
What devices can I use the Airbag Man app on?
The dedicated Airbag Man app is available for both iOS (Apple) and Android smartphones.
Is this a DIY install, or does it require professional fitting?
While experienced DIY enthusiasts can install the kit, professional installation by an authorised Airbag Man installer is recommended to ensure correct wiring and connections, especially given the electronic nature of the system.
Where are the physical components installed?
The compact control components, including the ECU and valve
block, can be installed externally or internally to suit the available
space. The wireless app control requires no dedicated wiring or mounting for the display and interface.
How do I power the systemif there are no switches in the cab?
The ECU connects to your vehicle's existing 12V electrical system and is controlled entirely through the wireless signal from the app.
How does the 360° Site Level display work?
The Site Level display assists you to adjust your Airbag Man suspension to site level your caravan or 4x4. To use it, simply place your smartphone flat on the surface which is to be levelled, with the app display facing up. You then use the app's Manual controls while observing the bubble level indicator on the screen to adjust the air pressure (inflate/deflate) until the bubble is centred. This process allows for precise side-to-side and front-to-back leveling.
Can I control all my airbags at once, or only individually?
The system is suitable for 2 corner airbag kits offering flexible control, allowing you to choose between simultaneously inflating/deflating all connected airbags (for quick adjustment) or independently adjusting each bag (for precision levelling).
Can I set custom pressure limits to help manage my vehicle's load capacity?
Yes, one of the key safety features of the Airbag Man App Control Kit is the ability to set customisable upper and lower pressure alerts. By calibrating the upper limit, you can set a maximum pressure based on your vehicle's specifications or known payload limits. This feature provides a proactive warning, helping you stay within safe operating pressures and better manage the maximum load you can safely carry or tow.
What happens if I lose my phone or the app crashes?
For safety and reliability, it is advised to ensure the system is functional even if the app connection is temporarily lost. The app is dedicated and highly stable, and the vehicle's ride height will remain constant until you choose to adjust it. If you prefer
